Well, according to someone (http://www.sevenlances.net/forum/index.php?topic=469.msg28762#msg28762), the item gives you both +meat% and +item%. i don't understand how that works. It looks to me like it is just a combat skill that is available when you have the necklace equipped... If it does in fact have such a great +item%, I am willing to reconsider.

Even so, the general aura of this iotm screams no to me. . .

so i'll be on this desktop computer for a while, because my laptop had a porn blowout or something. so that means no KoL for a few days... but it will all be good. i need to study for exams anyway, so basically depriving me of my laptop, while preventing me from working on my term paper that is due in 3 weeks, also allows me to study for other stuff.

something i found really funny (and ended up adding a link to in my forum sig because it is so hilarious to watch other people get screwed), is how multi czar shut down some asshole complaining that the KoL staff has gone "critical," because he and his "family" were trading items back and forth from the same IP address, so he did what everyone does... bitched about it in the gameplay discussion forum. xeno got wind of it, locked the thread, and watched as everyone attempted to puzzle out his mysterious post and reasons for locking what seemed like a legitimate thread. but then, czar reopened the thread and bashed the guy's skull in for lying, and smoot took a screenshot of the guys "family" (they're all in the same clan), and they're pretty much the same name. it was pretty funny to see the responses after that. even though i once got busted for thinking i was above the law in terms of multi abuse (it was crimbo, i was drunk! just kidding), i totally think that both he and i got what we deserved. i, however, fessed up and apologized profusely and was thus forgiven, whereas this lying bastard decided to, well, lie. anyway, here is a link to the thread so you can see for yourself if jick and tptb have gone critical.

so, the new iotm comes out soon and i have decided that if it isn't an item, and it isn't as good as or better than the navel ring, i am going to bitch about it a lot. prepare yourselves.
